Interim Project Director – Norway
Interim Search have been asked to recruit an Interim Executive Project Director for a large installation and building services company.
As the executive project director, you have the overarching responsibility to lead, manage and deliver complex and large scale installation projects. You manage the project from start to hand-over with full responsibility and accountability for budget, quality, time plan and customer relations.
Main responsibilities:
- Project management: Lead and coordinate the larger project team, suppliers and consultants. Secure delivery on set objectives and targets.
- Financial responsibility: Budget, financial follow-up, forecasting and managing additions and scope changes.
- Customer and authority: Take the role as main contact person towards customers, property owners, authorities. Nurture and manage the business relation.
- Work environment: Ensure that work related laws and regulations as well as internal policies for quality, environmental topics and work environment are followed and implemented.
- Purchasing: Participate and add value in procurement negotiations with suppliers.
Qualifications and Profile:
- Experience: Several years of relevant experience in leading large installation or building projects. Data center project experience is a strong requirement.
- Education: Engineering degree within relevant area combined with documented experience.
- Knowledge: Evident understanding of laws and regulations as well as financial and technical specifics for installation systems
- Personality: You are business minded, communicative and a senior mature leader with ability to structure complex processes and to take decisions under pressure.
