Interim Senior Procurement Manager
Interim Search has been entrusted with the appointment of an interim Senior Procurement Manager for a major international industrial company.
You lead a team of employees in Sweden, the Netherlands and the UK.
Main duties:

Ensure a smooth administrative process for European procurement so that buyers and category managers can focus on actual cost savings.

Ensure that effective backup procedures are in place for the European procurement function (European Procurement Execution).

Identify and report KPIs for Procurement Execution.

Initiate and implement change and coordination processes in Europe, with a particular focus on Procurement Execution-the function and the procurement organization as a whole.

Ensure close coordination (alignment) with the global function for Procurement Excellence for all process changes.

Keep European Procurement Director updated on progress at least once a month.

Lead and Develop Execution-the team and its members.

Ensure and integrate the technical buyer (Technical Buyer) as part of the team, as well as develop and implement a parallel strategy and structure for this area
To be eligible for the role:
- In-depth understanding of and experience with the procurement function (Procurement Execution) and purchasing processes in general.
- Proven leadership skills and experience in people management.
- Experience working in a multicultural, matrix-based, and multi-site organization (multi-site).
- Ability to adapt to a multicultural and cross-border role and area of responsibility.
- Leadership skills, including delegating tasks to team members.
- Ability to work as part of a team, but also independently when necessary.
About the process
The assignment is expected to last 6 - 9 months on a full-time basis, starting immediately.
We present candidates to the client in week 24 and interviews with the client company take place in connection with that.
