Interim Chief Operating Officer
Interim Search has been entrusted to appoint an Interim COO for a manufacturing company based in Belgium. The role is highly hands-on, focusing on ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly across production and logistics. The position is located northeast of Brussels.
Key Responsibilites:
- Ensure continuity in daily operations across production and warehouse.
- Provide structure, stability and leadership.
- Oversee supply chain and logistics flows, securing timely delivery to customers.
- Act as a coordinating function between production, warehouse and management.
- Identify operational challenges and escalate key issues to senior stakeholder.
- Be present in the business, supporting teams on-site and maintaining a calm, solution-oriented approach.
Qualifications:
- Experience from senior operational roles such as COO, Supply Chain / Logistics Manager, or equivalent roles with overall operational responsibility.
- Strong understanding of production and supply chain processes.
- Hands-on, pragmatic and business-oriented mindset.
- Proven leadership ability, with a structured and composed approach.
- Fluent in English.
- Fluency in French is considered an asset.
Assignment Details
