Interim Group Assembly & Installation Manager
Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim Group Assembly & Installation Manager for an international company headquartered in Gothenburg. You will report to the Group COO.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate assembly and installation activities across the group.
- In accordance with the project schedule, in coordination with the local assembly and installation team.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, with the required quality, within budget, and
customer requirements. - Develop an “S&OP process” for assembly and installation.
- Develop common tools to be used for planning and monitoring assembly
projects. - Oversee workflow, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure flexibility
within the group. Close cooperation with Regional Directors and Sales Managers
on forecasting resource allocation. - Procurement of subcontractors providing installation services.
- Close collaboration with Production Managers to ensure consistency in quality
standards and efficiency. - Ensure quality control during the assembly and installation stages.
- Implement process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and safety.
Requirements:
- Background in the infrastructure sector (Civil Engineering) as
Construction Engineer, Site Manager, Construction Manager, or equivalent experience. - A good understanding of manufacturing and installation processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Solid knowledge of safety and quality control.
- Strong project management skills and coordination abilities.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L management, financial monitoring, and cost control.
- High proficiency in IT planning and project management tools.
- Leadership skills; experience as a line manager and the ability to build trusting relationships. Experience working in international organizations is a plus.
Assignment Details:
