Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an Interim Data Governance Manager to a company active in the construction and machinery industry. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and secure master data in accordance with current legislation and internal policies. The position is located in the Gothenburg area.
Main duties:
- Implement and further develop the organization's Data Governance Framework by creating policies, structures and practices that support the business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure data quality, data protection and compliance through monitoring, controls and coordination across the organization such as IT, legal, business and data owners.
- Drive change and strengthen the data culture through communication, training and cross-functional collaboration.
To be eligible for the role:
- Several years of experience working with data governance, master data, data quality or related areas.
- Proven experience in data governance within Microsoft environments, including tools such as Purview and understanding of metadata, data lineage and SQL.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, information management, computer science or similar
- Process oriented with good communication skills and experience in managing multiple interfaces at different levels of the organization.
- Confident project and change manager with the ability to engage, build trust and work cross-functionally.
- Experience with Microsoft-based ERP systems is an advantage.
