Interim Corporate Lawyer
Interim Search has been commissioned to recruit an Interim Corporate Counsel for our client, with the overall goal of providing legal expertise to facilitate the company’s real estate development projects and ensure that the business complies with current and future sustainability requirements and legislation.
Main duties:
- Draft and negotiate development, land allocation, and property formation agreements.
- Conduct legal due diligence and draft a transfer agreement in connection with a purchase or sale.
- Be responsible for drafting contracts and providing legal advice in construction projects.
- Handle complex issues related to easements, rights of use, and project-related lease law.
- Monitor and manage legal risks related to environmental responsibility and social sustainability.
- Serve as a strategic sounding board for the management team and project managers on legal decisions.
To be eligible for the role:
- At least 10 years of documented experience, preferably as a corporate lawyer in the real estate industry.
- Was responsible for legal matters related to real estate project development.
- Extensive expertise in real estate law and construction law.
About the process:
This is a full-time position with flexible hours, starting in mid-February and expected to last initially through the end of August or beginning of September.
