Interim Senior Project Manager

Main duties:

• Responsible for projects throughout the entire process — from initial investigations and technical planning to completion and handover.
• Lead and coordinate the construction, installation, and commissioning of production facilities.
• Ensure that projects are implemented according to schedule, budget, and quality and safety requirements. And dinvolved in risk assessments, reporting, and continuous improvement work.
• Plan and allocate resources internally and externally, including contractors, suppliers, and technical partners.
• Manage procurement of major equipment, construction services, and other external services.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of project management methods and tools.

To be eligible for the role:

• Extensive experience in project management for investment projects in heavy industry with project costs in the hundreds of millions.
• Documented experience in installation projects within heavy industry, energy, or chemistry.
• Good technical understanding in the areas of process, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
• Experience in procurement and contract management.
• Strong skills in planning, budgeting, and cost control.
• Previous experience of HSE and work management on construction or industrial sites.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English and Swedish.
• Experience of international projects or global industrial companies is an advantage.

About the process:

The assignment starts immediately, is full-time, and is expected to last for 12 months. Travel within Sweden and internationally will be required.

We will present candidates during week 45, and interviews with the client will take place shortly thereafter.
