Interim Logistics Manager
Interim Search has been entrusted to appoint a Logistics Manager to an international industrial company at the forefront, active in the advanced manufacturing industry for the automotive sector. Here you are offered a central and operational role with a focus on stabilizing the business during a period of high growth and rebuilding. As Logistics Manager, you will be a key person in the local factory management with the task of creating structure and work peace in a fast-paced environment. The position is located in southern Sweden.
Main duties:
- Responsible for day-to-day operations and ensuring efficient inbound and outbound deliveries during ongoing refurbishments.
- Leading and coordinating transportation and production planning to ensure deliverability to customers.
- Personnel responsibility for an organization of about 50 employees.
- Drive improvement work to ensure proactive governance and structure.
- Actively participate in strategic projects, such as optimization of warehouse space (Project Warehousing).
- Improve communication and cooperation between logistics, production and marketing.
To be eligible for the role:
- Have at least 3-5 years of experience in a leading role in logistics, preferably in heavy industry or metal.
- Has proven experience in operational and day-to-day management in fast-paced and rapidly changing environments.
- Is a confident and calm leader who enjoys being present in the business (“hands-on”).
- Is solution-oriented and pragmatic with the ability to handle ad hoc challenges in a structured way.
- It is highly advantageous if you have experience from Automotive and experience of working in SAP.
About the process
The assignment is full-time for about 9 months with a desired start immediately. We will present candidates to the customer on April 9th and interview with the customer will take place after that.
