Interim Technical Manager

Main duties:

• Responsible for the operations, staff and finances of the Technical Board.
• Operation and development of streets, green spaces, water and sanitation, and emergency services with an operating budget of around 250 million per year.
• Implement investments of around 150 million annually.
• Manage three subordinate managers and three direct reports within the business.
• Management and monitoring of suppliers and of the implementation of investments, as a large proportion of activities are outsourced to various companies and consultants.

To be eligible for the role:

• Documented experience of at least 5 years in similar assignments.
• At least a university degree in a relevant field, or an education deemed equivalent by the client.
• Experience as an administrative manager, technical manager, community development manager or similar position in the municipal sector.
• Previous experience in managing operations, human resources and finances in the area of responsibility of the Technical Board.
• Experience in the operation and development of streets, green spaces, water and sanitation and emergency services is an advantage.
• Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English.

About the process:

The assignment is of 75% of a full-time and to be performed mainly on site. Start in August and the assignment is estimated to last for about 4-5 months. We will present candidates to customer on 19/6 with subsequent customer interviews after evaluation. Are you available and interested? Apply now!
