Interim Communications Lead

As Interim Communications Lead, you will plan and drive all communications at group level and for the company's various markets. Your focus will be on external communications, with initiatives in areas such as local news (expansion, new partnerships), employer branding, sustainability and tech innovation. You will work closely with the group's consumer-focused brands and report to the CGO.

Main responsibilities and duties:

• Plan upcoming communication initiatives with internal stakeholders (country managers, sustainability, design, and HR functions).

• Prepare communication materials such as press releases, LinkedIn posts, newsletters, etc.

• Hands-on execution of communication plans, including publication and follow-up of results.

• Manage ongoing media relations and the press office (e.g., handle press emails and incoming inquiries, as well as media monitoring).

• Lead the communications perspective in crisis management, including the preparation of official statements.

• Represent the communications department in brand projects, e.g., website development.

• Plan and order visual materials from the internal Design Team (images, graphics for social media, etc.).

• Support the People & Culture department with internal communications.

To be eligible for the role:

• Proven experience in a similar role

• Integrates well with senior leaders

• Ability to work proactively in a changing organization

• Can handle both hands-on actions and reactive measures

• Finds interesting ways to present fact-based and complex information

• Excellent written and editorial skills in English and Swedish, with a keen news instinct

• Has experience working with fast-growing, consumer-focused companies.

About the assignment:

The assignment will last for 6 months, with a scope of 3 days/week (60%).

The work is carried out on site in central Stockholm and partly remotely.
