Interim HSE Manager

Main duties:

• With overall responsibility for HSE & Compliance, develop, implement, and ensure compliance with HSE policies and relevant laws/regulations (Swedish and international).
• You will be responsible for ensuring consistent HSE planning and environmental considerations throughout all project phases in line with requirements and standards.
•  Monitor ESG targets, coach the organization, and ensure compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements.
• You will be responsible for effective coordination and collaboration with BAS-P and BAS-U for regulatory compliance and project requirements.
• Provide technical support and assist with risk management within HSE.
• Responsible for monitoring HSE performance and reporting to relevant management.
• You are responsible for securing the necessary resources and promoting a culture of continuous HSE improvement.

To be eligible for the role:

• You have solid, long-standing experience (approx. 8-15 years) in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)/Quality, Environment, and Work Environment (QEW) management, including relevant legislation and standards.
• You have a deep understanding of HSEQ principles, processes, methods, legislation (particularly Swedish), standards (e.g. ISO), risk management, and sustainability issues.
• You have the ability to develop and implement effective HSEQ strategies and management systems, lead and inspire.
• You have a relevant academic education in, for example, security, environment, technology, or a relevant engineering discipline.
• You are fluent in Swedish and also speak and write English.

About the process:

The assignment is full-time, starting immediately. The assignment is expected to last for 6 months, and since the company is looking to hire, there is a very good chance of permanent employment afterwards.

Candidates will be presented to the client on April 10, and interviews with the client company will take place on April 11.
