Interim Project Controller Manager

As Interim Project Controller Manager in the Business Support Department, you will have functional responsibility, but no staff responsibility, within a funding source.
You will report to the Head of Department.

As a project controller you are responsible for,

• monitoring outcomes against budget within projects 
• quality assurance of reports and monitoring of compliance with contractual terms within projects
• risk management in projects
• audit of projects at beneficiaries
• development and implementation of policies and procedures

Main duties

• Focus on quality control of projects and the work of project controllers 
• You do not run your own projects
• Training of controllers
• Support in advising the project teams to achieve set goals within the projects
• Develop new procedure descriptions
• Other development work, such as documentation of procedures and working methods 

Who we are looking for:

• You have +10 years of experience working independently with qualified project controlling
• You have +5 years of experience leading and developing teams in project controlling
• You have experience in quality assurance and compliance regarding e.g. project reporting, regulatory compliance, budget work, etc.
• You like to have overall responsibility and can be hands-on and operational when needed
• You have experience in development work/change processes involving employees in several different areas of expertise/competence
• You have a pedagogical streak and enjoy teaching your skills
• You have an MBA or equivalent
• An advantage if you have worked in a complex international company
• It is an advantage if you have worked in project-driven organizations with external funders

About the process

The assignment is 100% of full time. Start date is immediate and the assignment is expected to last approximately 4 months.
