Interim Purchaser
Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim buyer to a company in the Stockholm area.
Main duties:
- Quickly understand technical specifications and translate them into commercially advantageous contracts.
- Act as a bridge between purchasing and engineering by dealing with stakeholders such as engineering managers, maintenance managers and technical inventory managers.
- Analyze and structure data to identify new business opportunities and optimize supplier contracts.
- Manage ad hoc negotiations to ensure high delivery precision and cost control in day-to-day operations
- Independently lead and conduct contract negotiations in complex projects with a focus on savings and business benefits.
To be eligible for the role:
- Solid background in industrial and technical purchasing with experience in Capex and MRO.
- Skilled negotiator who has the ability to drive processes to a conclusion through quick and pragmatic closures.
- Good technical understanding and enjoys working closely with technical experts and managers.
- You are very good at Excel and used to handling large amounts of data to support your negotiations.
- You are self-driven and unpretentious, with the ability to navigate an organization undergoing change.
About the process
The assignment is full-time and is expected to last 9 months with immediate start. The assignment is carried out on site in the Stockholm area. Presentation of candidates will take place on Thursday, April 23.
