Interim General Counsel

The legal department currently consists of a general counsel and two senior corporate lawyers. As Interim General Counsel, you will report to the CEO.

Main duties:

• Provide proactive and business-oriented legal advice to support strategic decisions and ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
• Be highly involved and supportive before, during, and after the implementation of public procurement (on the supplier side)
• Prepare, review, negotiate, and follow up on various commercial agreements, such as purchase agreements and rental contracts.
• Work closely with different parts of the organization, including the management team, business units, and HR to provide a comprehensive overview and effective legal support.
• Educate and inform internal stakeholders about legal issues, changes in legislation, and policies to raise awareness within the organization

Who we are looking for:

• You have at least 10 years of experience in legal consulting, with relevant experience in public procurement.
• You have commercial legal expertise with a deeper understanding of public procurement legislation.
• You have experience leading and developing a legal team and the ability to act as a strategic advisor to senior management.
• You have a strong understanding of business and the ability to integrate legal expertise into strategic business decisions.
• You are driven and results-oriented, with the ability to collaborate with different parts of the organization and deliver high-quality work within time frames.

About the process

The assignment is 75-100% of full-time. Start date is immediate, and the assignment is expected to last for 6 months.
