Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an Interim Head of Department for the Portfolio Management Office within the group-wide CIO office at one of Sweden's leading insurance companies.
As Interim Head of Portfolio Management, you will report to the Head of IT Performance Management. You will be part of the section's management team, where you will work with other members of the management team to develop the function's business plan.
Main duties
● Responsible for managing the company's portfolio of business development
● Driving and advising on the continued work to implement the SAFe framework within the Group
● Coach, develop, and follow up on the performance of directly reporting employees against set goals
● Recruit, staff, and introduce new employees and actively support other portfolio managers within the group.
● Report the status of the development portfolio to Group management
● Support portfolio managers within the group, business owners, and other leading roles in the development area
● Quality-assured working methods, steering documents relating to operational development managed by the function
Who we are looking for:
● You are very familiar with portfolio management and have previously been responsible for agile portfolio management.
● You have solid experience of driving and synchronizing major development initiatives in large companies and working cross-functionally.
● You have solid experience of leadership within the SAFe framework and have worked with lean business cases/impact monitoring.
● You have experience as a line manager
● You have at least five years of experience in a senior role, such as management consultant, project manager, or other senior role with experience in business and product development.
● It is advantageous if you have participated in and been a driving force behind the introduction of agile working methods/SAFe.
● Experience in the insurance industry is an advantage.
About the process
The assignment is for 100% full-time. Start date is immediate or no later than December 1. The assignment is expected to last 4-5 months.
