Interim Procurement Manager

The role of Procurement Manager is broad and includes analysis work, responsibility for purchasing documentation, processes, tools, and general support for the entire purchasing team. The duties may also include contract issues and participation in purchasing projects. The role reports to the Purchasing Director. More specifically, the duties include the following:

• Collect and analyze supplier data to help with planning
• Responsibility for monitoring and reporting on purchasing activities
• Perform analyses and monitor key performance indicators
• Responsibility for the department's quarterly newsletter
• Be the owner of policy and process documents
• Develop methods for price trends for goods and services
• Develop quotes
• Supplier contracts and price negotiations

To be eligible for the role, you should have an academic degree in economics or engineering, preferably with a focus on supply chain management. You must be a skilled analyst and proficient in advanced Excel and other Office applications. You need to be able to visualize and communicate your conclusions and recommendations both in numbers and verbally. The ability to see the smallest details while thinking strategically is also expected. Drive, responsibility, and the ability to quickly complete tasks are necessary qualities. Very good English is necessary to perform the role.

The assignment is for a minimum of 10 months and starts in January 2018.
