Interim Business Controller

Interim Search is looking for a senior Business Controller on behalf of the Husqvarna Group to take responsibility for the head office's Price Management group in the role of interim Price Management Director. You are expected to be an outgoing person with solid experience of Business Controlling, leading staff and driving change in processes/procedures. Experience of pricing and having worked internationally in similar operations is an advantage.

The assignment is expected to last for nine months, starting on January 4, 2016. In this role, you will be employed on a temporary basis by Interim Search. You will be based at Regeringsgatan in Stockholm.

Role description

As a Price Management Director, your role is to improve and raise the standard of price management processes and information flow. This includes working with constant improvements and change management. The client has their own Price Management System.

Responsibilities and tasks

• Set the International Reference Price (IRP) by fully understanding the value of the product and what a reasonable price point is.
• Drive price process for finished goods and spare parts: Relevant IRPs per product.
• Create value proposition templates for all products vs. competition.
• Drive the pricing process and ensure approval is obtained.
• Optimize and harmonize across countries, thus ensuring a market-driven pricing strategy.
• Avoid price erosion by defining lowest price levels.
• Hold network meetings to align departments and divisions.
• Conduct consumer willingness-to-pay studies and support and validate business intelligence in the regions.
• Follow market price developments (external supplier).
• Conduct quarterly price development follow-ups per country for your specific product category. Follow up on last year's figures, competitors, and commitments.
• Developed reporting package and created the new product pricing follow-up
• Perform pricing and profitability analysis of customers, contracts, and distribution channels.
• Optimized pricing models for subsidiaries.
• Approve campaigns from the regions.
• Manage transfer prices from product department to countries.
