Interim Data & Analytics Business Translator

About the role:

You will act as a critical bridge between Marketing, Finance, Media teams, and technical experts, translating business needs into analytical use cases and ensuring that data and models are actionable for decision-making.
As D&A Business Translator, you will work with marketing domain business analysts and experts to understand the strategic needs of the business, identify & structure opportunities that can be solved through data, analytics and AI. You will translate these needs into possible new use cases in both business and technical language.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support data collection and validation from platforms like GA4, DV360, SA360, Meta, CRM, Ecommerce, GFK, etc.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and visualization experts to shape solutions
• Interpret MMM outputs for budget planning, media mix optimization, and ROI tracking
• Facilitate user training, documentation, and change management for broader adoption
• Act as a thought partner to the Product Manager and contribute to iterative product evolution

To be considered for this role:

• Academic degree in (business) computer science or comparable training
• 8+ years in data analytics, marketing/finance performance, or business analysis
• Strong proficiency in commercial and marketing data (e.g., sales, media, ROI)
• Understanding of MMM principles, drivers, and output interpretation
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, or Databricks (reading/debugging level)
• Familiarity with Power BI (for creating and interpreting dashboards)
• Fluency in English (written and verbal)
• Comfortable with agile workflows and cross-functional teams
• Experienced collaborator, skilled in working across business and technical functions
• Comfortable working in agile teams and fast-paced environments
• Curious, structured, and proactive in solving business challenges with data

About the recruitment process:

This is a full-time interim assignment, starting as soon as possible, and is expected to last for app. 12 months with potential for extension. Interviews  will take place in September.
