Interim Search has been entrusted with the appointment of an Interim Project Economist for a major healthcare organization based in Stockholm.
Main duties:
- Work independently and ensure that there are well-functioning financial processes in everything from customer invoicing to financial follow-up.
- Act as a sounding board for the business on all financial matters.
- Work on project administration, customer invoicing and control of revenue flows, supporting managers and contributing to efficient and quality assured financial processes.
- Continuous quality control and compliance.
- Ensure compliance in financial aspect regarding external contracts related to research.
- Participate in the preparation of financial statements and forecasts and be responsible for financial reporting to managers.
To be eligible for the role:
- Post-secondary education in finance/accounting or experience deemed equivalent by the client.
- At least 10 years of experience in qualified work as an economist/project economist or similar role.
- Be able to read and interpret contracts from an economic perspective.
- Experience communicating and giving presentations to non-economists.
- Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and good knowledge of English.
- Good knowledge of Excel and other MS-Office tools.
- Experience in the health sector.
- Experience in the public sector.
About the process:
The assignment is full-time and is expected to start immediately. The assignment has an estimated duration of 4-6 months and the consultant is expected to be on site at least 4 days/week.
