Interim Chief Financial Officer
Interim Search has been entrusted with appointing an Interim CFO to an international billion-dollar company based in Stockholm.
Main duties:
- Lead the global finance function with responsibility for the company's financial health and long-term profitability.
- Conduct financial planning, analysis, and reporting as a basis for strategic decision-making.
- Responsible for M&A processes, including financial due diligence and subsequent integration.
- Improve financial systems, KPI structures, cost control, and performance management processes.
- Support management and the board in corporate governance, investor relations, and strategic communication.
- Lead and develop the global finance team with a focus on results, performance, and skills development.
- Ensure compliance and manage financial risks at group level.
To be eligible for the role:
- Have at least 15 years of experience in senior finance roles, including several years as CFO or equivalent at group or division level.
- Have experience from international service companies with a decentralized structure and a focus on operational efficiency.
- Contribute background knowledge from M&A processes, private equity-owned companies, and capital markets (e.g., IPOs or bonds).
- Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and trust-building skills in collaboration with management, the board, and external parties.
- Mastery of English at the highest level (C2) and advanced knowledge of relevant financial systems (e.g., SAP and Excel).
- Work proactively and results-oriented with high integrity and the ability to navigate in changing environments.
- Hold a university degree in economics, accounting, or equivalent—preferably supplemented with a master's degree or MBA.
About the process:
The assignment is full-time and is expected to last approximately six months, starting on September 1. We will present candidates on Thursday, June 5.
