Interim Search collaborates in each interim recruitment with the security company Actsec Group in order to meet the demand for background checks in sensitive recruitments.
Actsec Group is comprehensive in security and offers systematic security work. This means that security procedures are incorporated throughout the business - shell protection and physical security, information and IT security, crisis and continuity management, and security linked to personnel and recruitment. Actsec also offers partial deliveries and specialized services, such as penetration testing and IT forensics and investigation and reconnaissance missions, but also various types of training.
The people working at Actsec have backgrounds in the National Criminal Investigation Service, military intelligence and business. We put some questions to Björn Scherrer, one of the co-owners of Actsec Group.
What market trends do you see for security services?
-Crime trends are largely driven by the opportunity to make money. Criminals are looking for types of crime where the reward is high and the risk low. As a result, fraud crimes have increased while violent crimes have decreased. Technological developments have also meant that fraud has moved online, for example in the form of fake emails, password mining and identity theft.
High unemployment and difficulty in getting a job, combined with a society that values career and wealth, means that lying or withholding important information during recruitment has become an increasingly common phenomenon.
What sets you apart from your competitors?
-Actsec offers customized solutions where the customer's needs and situation are the focus of our work. We believe it is important to weigh cost against benefit and do not want to offer unnecessary services and products. There must be a practical benefit and a real need for what we deliver.
Who buys your services?
-Interim Search AB, among others, says Björn and laughs. Actsec's Business Security clients range from large to medium and small companies, including construction, music industry, banking and recruitment. We are present at company start-ups where we review IT structure and physical security. We also help owner families to ensure their security.
