Interim Search welcomes Håkan Hall - experienced leader with focus on growth in Gothenburg
Interim Search expands its Gothenburg office and welcomes Håkan Hall to the team. Håkan has an impressive background with experience from several leading roles, including as CEO, Commercial Director and Global Director in both global groups and smaller private companies. He has solid expertise in value-creating sales management, change management and systems integration.
Welcome to your new job, Håkan! Why did you choose Interim Search?
Thank you very much! Once I had decided to enter the recruitment industry, the choice of company became obvious. After many years as a customer in the industry, I have seen that Interim Search lives up to the high demands I myself had on fast delivery and a structured process with high quality.
What is your professional background?
Originally an engineer, I started my career in the defense industry. In the early 90s, I moved into sales leadership roles in wholesale, including helping to establish new business units for various companies. Over the past two decades, I have held leading commercial roles, including CEO and Director, in logistics and automation, for companies such as Linde, Toyota, Mitsubishi and most recently STOW Group.
What strengths will you bring to your new role?
I believe that one of my main strengths is my ability to quickly create customer value and deliver results in demanding roles. In addition, I have extensive experience of leading in times of rapid change. And last but not least, I have a genuine interest in people and building strong relationships.
You will be working nationwide but based in Gothenburg. What is the market like there?
Gothenburg has long been dominated by industrial clusters linked to the automotive industry, petrochemicals, wholesale trade and the Port of Gothenburg. But we have also seen strong growth in the knowledge-intensive sector in recent years. There is a great need among our customers for leading roles in areas such as finance, technology, economics and IT. I look forward to contributing to the competitiveness of the Gothenburg region through our skilled and driven interim consultants.
