Do I need to pay start-up costs if I hire you as an interim supplier?
No, when you as a customer engage Interim Search, we do not charge any start-up costs or other fees; the recruitment process is free of charge.
Can I expect any guarantees in the recruitment processes if I hire you as an interim supplier?
In all our recruitment processes, we offer two unique guarantees that we call the 48-hour guarantee and the right consultant guarantee. The 48-hour guarantee means that we guarantee to present candidates in as little as 48 hours when the customer has an urgent need. With the right consultant guarantee, we guarantee free handling and compensation if the person we have appointed to your company needs to be replaced. With the right consultant guarantee, the induction of your new consultant is free of charge.
How do you handle classified information and confidentiality?
We are accustomed to working with confidential assignments and treat all confidential information with confidentiality both internally and externally. If the assignment we are to fill is confidential, the role is advertised with a masked advertisement or not at all. In our internal assignment list, the company name is not written out for other employees to see, but is marked as confidential there as well.
Approximately how long is your typical appointment?
Customers with particularly urgent needs can take advantage of our 48-hour guarantee and have available interim consultants presented in as little as 48 hours. Our most common process takes five days, during which time we conduct searches on internal and external platforms and possibly advertise. For particularly confidential assignments carried out under sensitive circumstances, the recruitment process can take around ten days. In these cases, we present an anonymous job description for the final candidates. The candidates are then presented to the client without them having any further knowledge about the client. In the next step, selected candidates sign a confidentiality agreement.
Does Interim Search have any particular industry focus?
No, we appoint interim managers and specialists in all industries. Our network consists of over 15,000 associated interim consultants with backgrounds in various industries and sectors. This selection allows us to find interim consultants whether you have a need in heavy industry, retail, or the public sector.
What should we do if we want to hire the candidate you appointed after a successful assignment?
Many of the assignments we fill are extended when the client discovers that they still need the interim consultant's expertise. Some assignments also turn into permanent positions when the client decides they want the candidate to stay on. If everyone's cool with it, the interim consultant gets hired by the client company, and Interim Search charges the client a recruitment fee, which is usually two months' salary.
At what stages might I need an interim manager?
There are many situations where your organization can benefit from an interim manager or specialist. Our most common assignment is while waiting for a permanent recruitment, when the recruitment of a permanent role is taking a long time and someone is needed to come in and take the helm temporarily. Other common needs are when key personnel are on parental leave or are on sick leave for a longer period of time, and when companies are undergoing change processes or need to bring in temporary expertise during growth phases.
Do you assign assignments to client companies abroad?
Yes, we have an International Desk where we offer interim consultants abroad. We often receive requests from Swedish companies with global operations. We have a large selection of interim consultants, many of whom are geographically independent and have extensive international experience. In all recruitment processes, we do our utmost to find the right consultant, which means we search our own internal database but also use external platforms for a wider selection.
How do you evaluate candidates who are presented or appointed?
Interim Search has jointly interviewed most of Sweden's interim consultants. There is a good chance that the candidates we present for an assignment have met several of us internally. We ensure that the candidates presented have been interviewed by one of us at Interim Search and that we have a good knowledge of the candidate. Before each appointment, we conduct a background check on the selected candidate to ensure that you get a reliable resource in place. The background check includes legal information and a financial overview.
Can you appoint interim consultants in all geographical areas throughout Sweden?
Yes, we appoint interim consultants throughout Sweden and our 48-hour guarantee applies nationwide. After Stockholm, Gothenburg is our most common location for appointments, but we have also appointed interim consultants in places such as Burseryd and Dorotea.
What roles can you help your customers with?
