Lena is an accounting manager by training, but in recent years she has specialized as a project manager, primarily in IFRS implementation. She recently became an interim consultant and has just completed her first assignment. Lena joined a company undergoing restructuring and was tasked with initiating an integration to IFRS with a short lead time. Lena drove the implementation to completion in nine months and led a team of five people from planning to integration and internal anchoring. The company operates globally and is part of a European industrial services group. Earlier in her career, Lena led CRM implementations and drove projects in group accounting for international companies.
Lena is used to larger environments where there is a lot going on. She is a meticulous planner, skilled at delegating and managing larger teams. She would prefer her next assignment to be in a large company running projects involving system implementation or centralization.
