This is what Karl-Erik's career journey has looked like so far. With the exception of the beginning of his 20-year career, he has stuck to qualified finance roles in the insurance sector and, in his most recent position, has been manager of five people in the finance department. A significant part of his time has been spent on personnel management, but he has never completely abandoned the operational side, preferring to lead his colleagues by producing results himself without getting bogged down in too many details. In his most recent assignment, his responsibilities as CFO have extended to the IT function, and he has also been responsible for regulatory compliance at the company.

With solid experience in IFRS, Solvency II, insourcing and outsourcing, implementation of new financial systems, improving reporting, streamlining and cost savings, Karl-Erik has the potential to create significant value for the right organisation.
