Interim Controller

After Marcus completed his academic studies, his first job was as a financial controller at a major bank. He then spent a few years in London before returning to Stockholm to work for a company in the food industry, where he quickly advanced to the position of sales controller with responsibility for a division. His career gained further momentum when he had the opportunity to serve as interim CFO at a hardware company, a role that helped him gain a broader perspective. For a time, he was head of accounts payable, managing a team of seven, and most recently served as finance manager for a well-known international recruitment firm. There, he was also responsible for accounting, reporting, financial management, HR, procurement, and IT. Marcus recently completed a long-term assignment with one of our clients, where he served as a highly valued senior controller, working closely with the sales and marketing departments.

Marcus is particularly well suited for two types of roles: one is as a senior interim business controller, preferably in an FMCG company that needs a consultant with a clear commercial mindset. The other is as an interim finance manager with limited personnel responsibility. Regardless of which role he fills, his personality is best suited to sales-oriented companies.
