Interim Business Controller

Mathias is new to the consulting market but has already completed his first interim assignment as a senior business controller. During that assignment, he worked at an e-commerce company and joined a dynamic environment that had recently completed an acquisition. Mathias was responsible for group-level controlling tasks and built financial models in Excel. He had overall responsibility for budgeting and forecasting within one of the company’s new business areas following the acquisition. This ensured that the right systems were in place to achieve the desired results moving forward. As an employee, Mathias has held controller positions and has also served as CFO at smaller companies and startups. He has strong analytical skills and is driven by working closely with the business and supporting operational development.

Mathias is looking for his next assignment and envisions himself working in a global context, closely with senior management, and as a key contributor to the development of a business-oriented controlling function.
