With a meteoric rise behind her, Charlotta is now one of Sweden’s most experienced credit managers. She focused on credit management early in her career and, within three years, advanced to become credit manager for a segment at a major Nordic bank. As an active member of the department’s management team, she was soon promoted internally to head of risk control, overseeing credit management, the approval of new financial products, and compliance with the new Basel regulations. A competitor subsequently poached her for the role of credit manager, tasked with further developing their credit management and policies and restructuring the then-dysfunctional credit process. After 1.5 years in the role, it transitioned to a management position, and after she recruited her successor, she decided to serve as interim head of credit.
