Interim HR Manager

Ellen has 15 years of experience in senior HR positions, with a particular focus on large manufacturing companies. She joined a technology consulting firm at an early stage, where she advanced to HR manager within five years and gained experience in union negotiations, recruitment, and expatriate management. She was then offered a position at a company that manufactures components for the automotive industry, with HR responsibility for 150 employees in Sweden and the US. In addition to deepening her knowledge in the field, she gained new experience in structuring a completely new HR function as a result of a merger with another company. A competitor lured her to its international operations and gave her responsibility for 400 employees and a place in the management team. She continued to work in operations and after four years wanted to try a new industry, so she moved to work in automotive and transport until three years ago when she decided to work on an interim basis. She is now looking for her fifth assignment.
