Interim Search has been commissioned to recruit an interim Unit Manager for Västfastigheter in the Västra Götaland region. Västfastigheter is one of West Sweden's largest property managers. The properties house health care, museums, agricultural schools, folk high schools and Gothenburg Botanical Garden.
Västfastigheter has an annual investment level of 2.2 billion, rental income is 1.8 billion, the management area is 1,700,000 sqm and it has 500 employees. The Head of Unit is part of the Customer and Property area, which is responsible for three hospitals and the Gothenburg Botanical Garden. It reports to the Real Estate Board with the task of conducting property management and premises supply in an appropriate and efficient manner. To perform in the role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Mature and confident in their leadership role
- Long management experience
- Familiar with construction/real estate/civil engineering
- Builds good customer relationships and can represent in senior management forums with customer
- Communicative, open and unpretentious
- Driven with a focus on delivery and participation
- Solution-oriented
You will be a member of the area's management team and are expected to have a background in the industry or related sector, but you do not need to be a real estate specialist. The assignment is 6-7 months long and starts in early June. Västfastigheter's office is located in Mölndal.
