Interim Supply Chain Manager
Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim Supply Chain Manager to a leading engineering company that helps its customers with turnkey substation solutions in power transmission, renewable energy and transportation.
In this role, you lead Supply Chain Management and ensure that project support works. Classic SCM role that includes getting the process in order, ensuring that contracts deliver in line with the project plan, keeping track of materials in and out, and being active in the tenders where you are a key role.
Main duties:
- Lead and develop SCM and Project Support Team in Sweden.
- Build a close relationship with suppliers.
- Allocate resources to and personally work on company tenders and projects
- Be the natural escalation point for all supplier-related issues.
- Conduct negotiations with suppliers.
- Drive and manage supplier errors and complaints
- Develop the company's existing supplier base and introduce new suppliers.
To be eligible for the role, you have:
- Relevant tertiary level education.
- At least 5 years of experience in how SCM works ideally in the EPC environment.
- Strong leadership background as line manager or project manager.
- Worked in a project-oriented business, preferably in trunk and regional networks.
- Strong commercial background, handling price negotiations, T&C, complaints, supplier errors, etc.
About the process:
The assignment is for 100%, estimated to last at least 6 months, but may last up to 18 months. Start immediately, but no later than mid-November. Possibility of some remote work.
