Interim Strategic Purchaser
Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an Interim Strategic Buyer in direct and indirect materials & services for our client in Stockholm in health and care with a turnover of 1.5 billion and about 1100 employees.
In the role of Interim Strategy Buyer of direct and indirect materials & services, you are responsible for strategic and tactical purchasing of various categories such as products and services in healthcare and care, Facility Management and consultants in various areas of expertise. You will be part of a team of 3 people and report to the Purchasing Manager.
Main duties:
- planning and implementing procurement procedures.
- Negotiate and establish contracts with suppliers.
- Measure and evaluate the performance of suppliers against contracts.
- Communicate and distribute information regarding contracts, suppliers and partners to Ersta and implement these.
- Work with internal stakeholders and management team.
To be eligible for the role, you have:
- You are proactive, driven, communicative and able to quickly familiarize yourself with purchasing activities.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in qualified purchasing work in both direct and indirect materials.
- You have a post-secondary education in Supply Chain and/or or equivalent work experience in the same field.
- You have solid purchasing experience and deal with a wide range of stakeholders and purchasing categories.
- You are a seasoned negotiator and have experience in reading and writing contracts.
- You are used to driving processes forward and enjoy working both operationally and strategically.
- You have worked in business systems and are fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English.
About the process:
The assignment is expected to last for about 6 months starting immediately. On site at least 3 days / week.
We present candidates on Friday 12/11 and interviews with clients the following week.
