Interim Search has been asked to appoint an Interim Strategic Buyer to a company focusing on technology and security in the Värmland region.
Main duties:
- Leading the procurement process for large CAPEX projects and responsible for ensuring that projects meet their cost, quality and time targets.
- Conduct negotiations and be responsible for drawing up contracts with suppliers.
- Specific focus is on the procurement of machinery and technical equipment.
- As the organization is international, the role involves a lot of educational work where you explain processes, strategies and local conditions for a global headquarters.
To be eligible for the role:
- Many years of experience in strategic sourcing and specific work on investment projects.
- Strong negotiation skills and deep understanding of contract law.
- Experience in machine procurement or technically heavy purchasing environments.
- You are adept at explaining complex purchasing strategies to different stakeholders and thrive in an international context.
- Fluent in English and Swedish in both speech and writing.
About the process:
The assignment is full-time and is expected to last for about 12 months with immediate start. The assignment takes place on site in eastern Värmland, with the possibility of hybrid work about 2-3 days a week. We present candidates on Friday, February 5th and interviews with the customer take place in connection with this.
