Interim Senior Financial Controller
Interim Search has been commissioned to recruit an Interim Financial Controller for an established company in a growth phase. We are seeking a Senior Financial Controller for an exciting assignment in an international and dynamic environment. You will be joining the company at a time when the finance and controlling function is facing several important changes, and you will have the opportunity to contribute both operationally and in terms of development.
Main duties:
- Provide support in financial controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Compile, analyze, and consolidate financial information
- Participate in financial statement preparation and audit work for Sweden and the United States
- Work with IFRS and contribute to the implementation of IFRS 18
- Support the development and implementation of SOX controls and internal controls
- Contribute to the development and quality assurance of financial processes and reporting
- Participate in the implementation of a new consolidation system
- Support the business in matters related to international reporting and expansion
- Handle ongoing and ad hoc tasks where the organization needs additional support
To be eligible for the role:
- Several years of experience as a Senior Financial Controller, Financial Controller, Group Financial Controller, or in a comparable role
- Strong understanding of accounting, management accounting, and financial reporting
- Experience with IFRS and, preferably, international consolidated financial reporting
- Experience with internal controls/SOX is a plus
- Experience with consolidation and/or system implementation is a plus
- Very good knowledge of Excel
- Very good spoken and written Swedish and English
- As a person, you are unpretentious, solution-oriented, and hands-on
- You are expected to be at the office in Lund 5 days a week
About the process
The assignment begins immediately with a workload of 100% and is expected to last approximately 6 months. We will present candidates to the client on October 8, and interviews with the client will take place on October 9.
