Interim Purchasing Manager
Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an Interim Buyer to an international company with headquarters in Stockholm and production in Värmland.
The role is both strategic and operational, initially it is important to also perform operational i.e. daily tasks as a material planner/purchaser. You will have a team of 2 people and you will report to the Head of Operations.
Main duties:
- Managing, allocating and monitoring the work of your unit
- Responsibility for the purchasing function
- Further development of the purchasing process in cooperation with strategic purchasing within the group
- Responsibility for the process and forecasting tools
- Summary of sales forecast
- Responsibility for inventory optimization and setup of basic data in Monitor
- Responsibility for transportation EMEA and APAC
- Certification of supplier invoices
To be eligible for the role, you have:
- At least 5 years of experience in similar roles
- Operational with strategic height
- Driving, commercial and strong profile
- Very good knowledge of Excel
- You have experience working as a leader and are good at getting your employees on board to achieve set goals.
- You have a post-secondary education in purchasing and/or equivalent work experience in the same field.
- You have previously worked in an international company and are fluent in English, the language of the group.
About the process:
The assignment is expected to last for about 6 months starting immediately. On site for about 1-2 weeks for introduction in Värmland, then distance.
We present candidates on Wednesday 5/1 and interviews with clients on Monday 10/1.
