Interim Purchasing Manager (Job ID: 1194)
Interim Search has been commissioned to recruit an interim Purchasing Manager for a well-established infrastructure group headquartered in Stockholm.
In the role of Interim Purchasing Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the Group’s purchasing operations, which includes both defining requirements and driving development, as well as providing support for operational purchasing within the company’s business areas. You will report directly to the CEO.
Main duties:
- Be responsible for goal-setting and performance reporting in the procurement area
- Ensure compliance with procurement guidelines, coordinate global procurement, monitor industry trends in the procurement field, and manage IT support
- Ongoing collaboration with internal and external colleagues and partners
- Be responsible for the company's overall procurement activities and lead major contract negotiations
- Direct supervisory responsibility for 6–10 procurement managers and responsibility for coordinating a procurement management team totaling 20 people
Who we are looking for:
- You have at least ten years of experience in a similar role at medium-sized companies
- You have relevant academic training
- You have experience in organizational development and a proven track record of managing staff
- As a person, you are proactive and have a solid understanding of current laws and regulations
- Experience in construction, civil engineering, and subcontracting is a plus
