Interim Project Manager
Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint a Project Manager to a market leading company in the manufacturing industry in northern Sweden. The assignment is linked to a specific large product project to be delivered at the end of the year.
Main duties:
- Responsible for the general project planning in cooperation with product owners towards production, product planning and follow-up
- Ensure that the schedule is kept and that the project is carried out with the highest level of safety
- Risk analysis and escalation of potential risks related to development and production
- Convening with involved stake holders, like purchasing, logistics and production
- Coordination of all activities linked to the project
- Plan and carry out lab tests and verification, and then implement any detailed changes
- Develop work packages in service and spare parts inventory
- Reporting responsibilities to steering committee and CEO, including standard risk mitigation
To be eligible for the role:
- Experience of working in industrial production
- Project management experience with experience of working against tight dead lines
- Experience in the production of large components or machines
- You are a strong leader who is decisive, driven and fearless
- Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge in hydraulics is an advantage
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Swedish
- You have the opportunity to work on 70% in northern Sweden
About the process
The assignment covers 70% starting August 3rd and is expected to last for about 5 months, until the end of 2026.
