Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim Production Manager to a company in Östergötland. In the role of Production Manager, you are responsible for leading, developing and following up production with a focus on safety, quality and efficiency.
Main responsibilities:
- Managing and allocating work within production and ensuring that the right skills, resources and planning are in place.
- Putting safety first and ensuring compliance with health and safety, laws, contracts and company policies.
- Drive production targets by monitoring quality, efficiency, energy and environmental issues.
- Coaching and developing employees through active leadership, performance appraisals and skills management.
- Initiate and coordinate improvement work and participate in projects to develop processes and working methods.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure efficient flow and holistic approach in operations.
To be eligible for the role:
- Experience in process or production flows and used to leading others in a technical environment.
- Proven experience in systematic improvement work.
- Results-oriented, communicative and a team player with good overall vision.
- Ability to engage and drive change through inclusive leadership.
- Education in relevant field or equivalent experience.
About the assignment:
