Interim Production Manager
Interim Search has been commissioned to recruit an interim Production Manager for a billion-krona company in Småland. The Production Manager will initially oversee directly reporting staff functions such as purchasing, cost estimation, and master data. The role is part of the executive team, and you will report to the CEO.
Main duties:
- All strategic issues related to factory production.
- All strategic issues related to design and construction.
- Integration of a new robotic factory.
- There is a clear need to shorten the design phase and move away from a traditional
process management toward a more project-based operation. - Ensure that processes are streamlined.
- Navigate technical systems such as Revit and understand how AI can streamline the design process.
- Ensure a transition from process-based management → more project-based management in certain business areas.
- Ensure adaptation to new business models (Business-to-Business).
To be eligible for the assignment:
- Relevant college or university education, or other education or experience deemed equivalent
equivalent education, preferably in the real estate field. - Experience in construction management is highly desirable.
- Strong expertise in construction; must understand design and the construction process.
- A strong business acumen is required to understand the factory’s role as a supplier to internal and external
customers. - Project management (preferably with experience in goal-oriented project planning).
- An understanding of both industrial production and complex construction projects is an asset when serving various business segments.
- The role requires a high level of drive and perseverance in a financially challenging situation where the company is operating at a loss
