Interim Market Analyst
Interim Search has been entrusted with recruiting an interim Market Analyst for a major company involved in the production and distribution of chemical-technical products. The company has total revenue of approximately 4.5 billion USD and operates on a global scale, but this assignment focuses on the Nordic markets.
Main responsibilities and duties:;
- Market Overview : Applications and estimated demand for the company’s products, market size, trends, and growth potential
- Market drivers and barriers: Key regulatory, environmental, and price-related factors (e.g., CO₂ policy, energy mix, sustainability goals, commodity prices), as well as the availability or limitations of infrastructure
- Customer and Competitor Analysis: Identify the top 5–10 players per market segment and country (the Nordic region)
- Strategic Summary: Import/export patterns and supply chain characteristics, potential entry strategies and risks, recommendations for commercial opportunities and areas of focus
To be eligible for the role;
- Experience with similar assignments in leadership positions in sales, marketing, and business development
- Relevant industry experience, preferably from large companies in the chemical, minerals, mining, paper, pulp, or similar sectors
- Extensive experience with thorough analysis and mapping, preparing decision-making materials, and a strong ability to present executive summaries
- Proficient in speaking and writing in both Swedish and English
About the process;
The assignment begins on September 1, consists of 50–100 %, and is expected to last approximately 6 months.
