Interim M&A Project Manager
Interim Search has been tasked with recruiting an experienced Interim M&A Project Manager for an international, growth-oriented company for an assignment starting this fall. As an Interim M&A Project Manager, you will play a central role in the company’s acquisition efforts and support the organization throughout the entire transaction process—from analysis and evaluation to execution and integration preparations.
The role involves working closely with internal decision-makers, external advisors, and local business partners in several European markets. The focus is on driving and coordinating ongoing acquisition processes rather than being responsible for sourcing new business opportunities.
Main duties:
- Analyze, assess, and evaluate potential acquisition targets.
- Coordination of financial, legal, tax, and commercial due diligence.
- Preparation of investment proposals, risk analyses, and decision-making materials.
- Coordination of internal and external project teams throughout the transaction process.
- Support in negotiations and the handling of transaction documentation.
- Ensuring a smooth transition to the integration phase.
- Ongoing monitoring and reporting of current transactions.
To be eligible for the role:
- Do you have several years of experience in M&A, Corporate Development, Private Equity, or Corporate Finance?.
- Do you have documented experience in leading or coordinating corporate acquisitions?.
- Do you have a solid understanding of financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence processes?.
- Do you have experience working closely with external advisors in the areas of law, tax, and finance?.
- Do you have the ability to work independently in an international and dynamic environment?.
- Do you have excellent communication skills in English?.
About the process
The assignment is expected to last ten months, on a full-time basis, starting in September 2026. We will present candidates to the client on June 17, and interviews with the client company will take place shortly thereafter.
