Interim Logistics Manager
Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim Logistics Manager based in central Gothenburg. The company has a turnover of SEK 1.3 billion and works with product sales with associated modifications and service.
As Interim Logistics Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the client's logistics function.
About the role of Interim Logistics Manager:
- Overall responsibility for the function and the team of five people.
- Ensure that delivery of the right products with the right modifications reaches the right customer at the right time.
- Develop your company's supply chain process.
- Plans the work in detail together with the planning manager, including forecasts.
- Coordinate orders and deliveries with other companies in the group.
- Ensure that all documentation to customers is correct and handle discrepancies.
- You work closely with the sales department.
- Do you evaluate suppliers.
- Creating quality in processes.
To be eligible for the assignment:
- Have you recently worked as a Logistics Manager or as a Group Manager in Logistics or Demand Manager in a company working with products, or installations and services.
- Has experience in Demand Management.
- Management experience of the corresponding group.
- You like planning, details and are solution-oriented.
- You are used to working with a high degree of customization.
- Experience of change management.
About the process
We present candidates on an ongoing basis and interviews at the client company take place during August. The assignment is expected to start on September 1 and last until February 2018. There is a possibility that the assignment can be transformed into a permanent position with the client company, but this is not a requirement from the client.
