Interim Search has been commissioned to recruit an IT manager for AFA Försäkring. AFA is owned by the social partners. Through collective agreements, employees in the private sector and municipalities, county councils, regions and certain municipal companies are insured. The company manages over SEK 200 billion in capital and has 600 employees.
The IT Manager is responsible for the Project Requirements & Test department and has two direct reporting team leaders and currently six project managers. The role reports to the CIO and sits on his management team. Main responsibilities are:
- Ensure that project management, requirements and testing skills are available and developed
- Staff projects with project managers, requirements managers and test managers - both with internal and external resources
- Ensure that the department is properly staffed. Budget for staff, consultants and licenses for tools
- Carry out business planning
- Coach employees
- Be a key cog in the management team of the company's IT function
To be considered for this position, you should have a relevant education in the field of IT and be an experienced leader with experience in management team work. You are communicative, driven and coachable.
