Interim IT Manager
Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an Interim IT Manager for a logistics and transportation company, which supplies the group's companies with consumables. The company has about 300 employees and a turnover of two billion.
As Interim IT Manager, you are part of the company's management team and have personnel responsibility for 12 people. The group has expertise in technology, security, architecture, project management and management management.
The delivery model is based on a high degree of outsourcing, with partners and suppliers providing operational, support and management services.
Main duties:
- Budgetary and human resources responsibilities, as well as responsibility for planning, managing, developing and monitoring the department's activities
- Responsibility for the development and delivery of all IT services and processes that support the business.
- Communicate and further develop the IT strategy linked to the business strategy.
- Act as a sounding board for representatives in other areas of activity on IT opportunities and developments.
- Responsibility for project deliverables and that the necessary procedures and processes are developed and followed up.
- Represent the company in group-wide networks (mainly with other IT managers).
- Drive IT development projects with departmental staff.
- Responsible for IT and information security, which means carrying out security analyses and planning and implementing the necessary measures.
Who we are looking for:
- You have several years of experience in senior IT positions and a proven track record as a manager with staff responsibilities.
- You have the ability to work at an operational and strategic level, and to drive long-term development issues both locally within the company and centrally within the group.
- You have a good business understanding with a business and customer-oriented view of IT, and are used to working at the interface between business and IT.
- You have very good IT skills and a university level education in IT or equivalent.
- You have previously worked on the implementation of new IT operating models/ways of working as well as new organizational structures and governance models.
- You have the ability to translate business needs into solutions and drive through and implement these in practice, in-house or with suppliers.
- You have knowledge and interest in new technologies, such as digitalization and AI.
- You have good judgment and an ability to prioritize.
- You are self-motivated and driven and complete your processes.
- You are a good listener and a committed team player who is easy to work with and able to maintain your relationships.
- A background in logistics and warehousing is an advantage.

The assignment is 100% of full time. Start as soon as possible and the assignment is expected to last for 9 months.
