Interim IT Manager
Interim Search has been commissioned to recruit an IT Director for a major municipality in Hälsingland.

Main duties:
The Technology, Service, and Recreation Administration is one of the municipality’s administrative divisions. Within this department, the IT Unit is hierarchically positioned with 13 employees and a net budget of approximately 12.5 billion. The role of interim head of the IT Unit (also referred to as IT Operations Manager) includes the following:
- Responsible for operations, personnel, finances, and the work environment.
- Lead and develop the business.
- Meet the overall goals of the administration and the municipality.
- Evaluate operations and implement improvements.
- The role involves leading the unit to collaborate with other municipalities in Hälsingland on IT operations.
As IT Operations Manager, you are responsible for maintaining effective communication with the business and driving the pace of development forward. The role also involves monitoring industry trends and participating in various forms of collaboration with other municipalities and organizations. You are responsible for the IT department’s budget and staffing, and you lead the department by setting clear goals and priorities and establishing expectations for results. You are responsible for ensuring that servers, computers, phones, and tablets are kept up to date in terms of security, in accordance with ITIL processes and ISO 2000. You will actively address security issues in accordance with the ISO 27000 standard, in collaboration with the information security officer and in compliance with applicable legal requirements for the current operations.
To be eligible for the role, you have:
- Must have served as the head of large organizations.
- Work experience in the field and/or management experience in the field.
- Knowledgeable about national standards in the field of IT.
- B driver's license.
