Interim IT Controller
Interim Search has been commissioned to fill a part-time interim senior IT controller position at a publicly traded company in Stockholm.
In your role as IT Controller, you will have overall responsibility for the processes and procedures related to the IT department’s financial activities. You will develop and monitor these activities, all in close collaboration with IT and finance managers. You will serve as the link between the central IT department, the finance department, and the Group’s companies. You will be part of a Nordic team of approximately 35 people and report to the Nordic CIO.
Main duties:
- Coordinate with Finance upon project completion (to ensure that costs are invoiced to the recipient, depreciation periods are established, etc.)
- Monthly meetings with subsidiaries regarding IT forecasts
- Long-Term Planning (Annual Process)
- Annual Forecast (Annual Process)
- Update the forecast quarterly or upon request from Finance
- IT CAPEX Follow-Up
- Support IT managers with Palette (ensuring correct account assignments, using dimensions to improve tracking, etc.)
- Profit Analysis by Cost Center and Pier: Actual vs. Forecast
- Earnings Review with KST Owners
To be eligible for the role, you have:
- You are a good communicator, organized, and detail-oriented
- You are a senior business economist with 5–10 years of professional experience
- Has extensive knowledge and experience in the field of economics
- You have worked in similar roles in the past
- A good understanding of IT issues
- You have a good command of English, the Group's language, both spoken and written
About the process:
Ideally, you'll be able to start the assignment and be available in July for the handover, followed by an official start in August.
This is a part-time position lasting 5 months, with the possibility of an extension.
