We are urgently seeking a Head of Unit/HR Manager for a department where there are approximately 75 employees divided into four different units with their own responsibility for their respective service delivery; HR-Payroll & Pension, HR-Analysis & system support, HR-recruitment and HR-staffing.

Main duties:

  • Help manage and be responsible for a total of approximately 75 employees in the group with a focus on staffing and recruitment.
  • Coordinate the administrative flow of external resourcing within the company.
  • Achieving contractual fidelity and the application of competitive tendering.
  • Work according to the Law on Public Procurement (LOU).
  • Direct responsibility for the Staffing Unit's two teams (fixed-term and temporary with about 15 employees) and support to managers in the business.
  • Be responsible for the planning, management, finance and staffing of your business.
  • Monitor work to ensure that time, cost and quality targets are met, and ensure that processes are continuously developed with a focus on business benefit.
  • Ensure efficient production and good quality of service delivery based on core business orders.

 

To be eligible for roles, you must:

  • Confident in a leadership role and with several years of experience in a managerial position, who thrives in an operational leadership role.
  • Experience in service delivery activities, with a focus on customer and business benefit and high service levels.
  • Results-oriented person, who in order to achieve set goals has the ability to inspire and coach your employees to their full potential to ensure a high class delivery.
  • The ability to be flexible to changing conditions and circumstances and is strongly motivated by improvement and development work.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to build trusting and long-term relationships at all levels.
  • Experience in staffing/recruitment work.
  • Experience of leading development and change initiatives.
  • Degree from a relevant college or university.

 

About the process:

The assignment is for about 6 months with a flexible start no later than April 1.
