Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim Head of Procurement/Category Manager for a product company that is well established in its national and international market.
In the role of interim Head of Procurement, you will initially enter an operational role as Category Manager. You will work in an operational and central role for the region with the aim of professionalizing strategic purchasing.
Main duties:
- Operational and Strategic responsibility for purchasing and category
- Responsibility for large projects, flows and processes
- Responsibility for building and defining new national and international purchasing structure
- Negotiation of e.g. major contracts
- Lead, support and develop the function
To be eligible for the role:
- Background in engineering, product, construction and civil engineering
- Relevant academic education
- Solid experience in operational and strategic purchasing in an international context
- Experience in operationally and strategically driving, developing and defining purchasing processes and strategies
- Experience in change and transformation work
- Technical interest as well as technical industry experience is an advantage
About the process:
The assignment is expected to last for about 6 months starting in September. Presentations and interviews with the client company will take place on 26/8 and interviews in connection with this.
