Interim Group Controller
Interim Search has been entrusted with filling the position of Interim Group Controller for one of our clients in the energy, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.
As Interim Group Controller, you will play a key role in an expanding group and work closely with both the owners and the board of directors. Our client is on an exciting growth journey, and your responsibilities will include group reporting, financial monitoring, analysis, and business development, as well as involvement in acquisition processes and the integration of new companies.
Main duties:
- Be responsible for the Group's financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, and drive the development of reporting formats and processes.
- Work on analyzing key performance indicators, profitability, acquisitions, and business development, and contribute to strategic decisions.
- Participate in acquisition processes, including due diligence, and be responsible for the integration of new companies.
- Lead and monitor business development and improvement projects within the Group.
- Be responsible for financial monitoring, financial agreements, and reporting to banks, as well as participating in securities offerings.
- Be responsible for corporate governance and administration, including board meetings, corporate documentation, and the share register.
- Work closely with the owners and the board of directors and contribute to the Group’s continued growth and development.
To be eligible for the role:
- Experience working as a group controller, preferably at a small or medium-sized group where consolidated financial statements are prepared in collaboration with an external accounting or auditing firm.
- Experience working with consolidated reporting, financial monitoring, and analysis.
- Experience working for a corporate group engaged in acquisitions is a plus.
About the process
The assignment is initially for 6 months with a good chance of extension; you are expected to be on site 100%, and the location is Stockholm/Solna.
