Interim Financial Controller

As an interim Financial Controller, you will have overall responsibility for financial statements and reporting, with a particular focus on working in Excel and handling large amounts of data. You report to the Group Manager Controlling and are part of a team of 8 people.

Main duties:

• Independent responsibility for monthly and annual financial statements.
• Prepare reports for the board and management team.
• Manage and analyze stored files in Excel – advanced skills required.
• Work with different reporting structures and layouts.
• Produce financial statements and monthly reports.
• Independently manage treasury issues related to loans that need to be renewed, new
  borrowing to be taken, control of liquidity risk and interest rate risk, and analysis and
  estimates of borrowing costs in forecasts and budgets.

To be eligible for the role:

• Solid experience of accounting and reporting in complex organizations.
• Very good knowledge of Excel, including working with large data sets.
• Good understanding of borrowing, treasury functions, and financial reporting.
• Experience with income statements focusing on interest-bearing items.
• Experience working independently with financial statement processes.
• Experience reporting to boards and customized reporting structures.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.

About the process:

The assignment is full-time with immediate start. The assignment is carried out approximately 50 % in the office (during the introductory period most of it) and the assignment is expected to last 8 months.
